No. To build a website you need a website builder not a web hosting service. But there is no point in having a website without uploading to a server ie hosting (to a server). Yes after building a website you can upload it to the hosting service the HTML file
or you can buil directly in some hosting providers. The one a I am talking about has a site builder feature in it.

Yes, you need hosting for your website. See, once the website is designed you’ve to host it on a web server which must be attached through a domain name. Yes , your problem is may be occurred the service provider, I am using some websites without any problem still now, I get the domain name and host site from the http://www.xnynz.com/ site, You can also get at low cost and solve your problems.

Yes you need hosting! HostGator is by far the best in my opinion but to get your started check out http://getafreedomain.net/ You can get a free domain name there and also use the hostgator link on the page for a discount. Yes web hosting is needed you need both a web host and a domain to run a website. Without these those you cannot do anything, so you need both to start up your own restaurant.

You don’t need web hosting to build a site, but you will need it when you want to publish your site to the web! Hi, if you’re looking for a nice hosting site, I recommend a couple of the following which don’t cost too much and yet provides everything you need to start your business online. I have a couple of sources I do recommend…you can see sites listed below.

Some (not all) of the other answers are only about basics but you are talking about e-commerce. There is free open source e-commerc software and there are also hosting providers who offer pre-installed e-commerce packages. You will need some expert professional help either way if you plan to be up and running soon. Otherwise you should not have expectations of a quick startup. It takes some time to learn how to use such a software package and setup your store.
