Well put it this way - people atempting to move cast iron chiminea by themselves are probably keeping chiropractors in a roaring trade throughout the warmer months of the year.
You are probably looking at upwards of 40kg for a mid size chiminea. That’s a lot for anyone to lift.
The best thing to do is either to get a friend to help you lift it using the handles on either side, or use a trolley or cart.
Better still get the delivery person to put it in the exact place you want in your garden. In some cases they’ll even help you assemble your lovely new cast iron chiminea. Perfect!
