Winter Wonderland
We just returned from vacation in Lake Tahoe. While there we saw 72″ of snow, great for skiing or snowmobiling. We also took a lunch cruise on Lake Tahoe over to Emerald Bay, the color of the water and clarity was beautiful. An interesting fact about the lake I didn’t know is the average depth of the lake is 900 feet deep, and it’s deepest point is 1600 feet. They say there is enough water in the lake to cover the entire state of Texas in 9 inches of water. Now being from the state of Texas that seams a little hard to believe. We also tried a back country hike but had to cancel that one due to white out conditions. Over all we had a great time.
