is there any websites that offers free domain registring?
i was looking to start a clan and make a website for it, but i have two problems 1 i have a dynamic IP address and 2 dont want to BUY a domain name
so do you know of anywebsites that use Dynamic DNS and free domain registering?
yeah i know i can point directly to my IP but the problem with that with having a dynamic IP is i would have to countinuosly email any clan members including myself the IP address
yeah my router suggests that i use dyndns, i know they give you a list of ones to choose from but they seem kinda stupid, but oh well, i guess money does rule the world

yahoo offers domains but otherwise I don’t know

no, it costs $$. You can get a name for $9.99/year from yahoo but you need to host it yourself.
Or you can have no name and just point to your IP address. Buying a name links your IP address with a website name or URL (ie. yahoo.com = 129.77.44.567)
