That goes for web hosting as well. Usually free web sites and hosting give you limited choice. Most of them won't give you a true first level domain. It's usually yourname.theirhost.com such as xxxxx.blogspot.com or xxxx.freeweb.com. The URL sticks out like a sore thumb and lacks credibility. Most people would see right away that it is a free web site. They would wonder why if this is a serious web site why would you use a free service? Lacking credibility equals less traffic and few if any orders if you are selling something.
