So I’m new to web hosting…and I just bought a domain at Godaddy.com?

Heres my stupid question:

How do I edit the page?

Also, how do I add pages to the website? Like domainname.com/newpage?

You bought the domain name. Now you have to get it hosted at a hosting service of your choice.

Hey… a domain you buy doesn’t mean you will get web hosting services.

besides a domain, you also need to buy web hosting service from godaddy.com or other hosting company.

You can edit pages even in dreamweaver, notepad (requires knowledge of HTML)

To run your site you need a domain and web hosting account, I hope you bought the both.

Need to edit a page for this you can use any ftp cliet if you are used to it. other wise first do it at our home computer/workstation than upload it.

If the page is been already uploaded you need to edit the page at your local system or download the actual file from your hosting server and than edit it and again upload it.

You did not specify whether you bought a hosting account or not. Please note that buying a domain name and buying a hosting account are two different things although they can be bought at a time.

If you did not buy a web hosting account then you need to buy one. Since you are new to this thing, I recommend you to buy a hosting package at http://neond.com

They provide free video tutorials on how to set up and manage your web site. You can set up your web site using site studio provided by NeonD with few clicks.

If you have already bought web hosting account with godaddy.com then you should contact the support team for help.
