What is the cheapest place to register Domain Names?

Do you know if they charge a tranfer fee?

Thanks 4 Ur Help

It seems godaddy charges $6.99 per domain to transfer which can get to be a LOT as they add up.
Any options to not pay xfer fee?
Thanks!

I’m not sure if its cheapest, but I know it is cheap and reputable — I always use godaddy.com

I second the first person. Godaddy is within $1 of any legitimate registrar, and no, there is no fee to transfer the domain.

Use Netfirms - http://tinyurl.com/netfirms. $5.95 including private domain registration (important to prevent spammers from using your email in your domain records). Godaddy charges $6.99 for private domain registration.
