If you have already purchased your domain name and added content to the site, a great way to get the search engines to it is by pinging the site using a free service such as www.feedping.com

When I set up mine, I remember a bunch of "free website hosting" sites. Just type that in the search bar and you’ll find some. I only pay $4.95 a month and have everything I’ll ever need, including e-commerce, page builders, etc… checkout startlogic.com. You can use geocities, myspace, and a bunch more, but can’t register a domain like "yourname.com" through them. Good luck!
I started mine on my own. My host helped with everything I needed and it’s only $4.95 per month. Check out the link below. http://startlogic.com They’ll give you everything you need and have 24 hour tech support. Anything you need to do, they will walk you through. They have been great. Most stuff can be done through their control panel. The rest you can use another program and FTP it onto their server. Good luck.
