i am going to buy a domain but i have some confusion please help me.

2>is it possible to create subdomain under my domain.

2. If you have full DNS control then you can create subdomains, after all that’s exactly what "www." is. So, you can create additional DNS records for all your subdomains and you can point them all at the same server or different servers.

Are they more reliable or something….do they provide more or better services? Why do they pay $30+ a year for domain registration thorugh network solution when one can register way cheaper ones($7) elsewhere..?

You actually answered your own question: more or better services.

Or to be specific, support. You’ll notice that those who offer .com domain registrations between $6-$10 hardly offer 24/7 phone support, much more toll-free.

Go Daddy offers 24/7 toll phone support. But it’s not TOLL-FREE.

I’ve seen at 2-3 companies offer 24/7 toll-free phone support. But based on my research, it depends on any of the following:

1. How they started out, especially if they began as webhosts.

2. What their business models are, especially if they’re focusing on website hosting and hardly providing effective domain management tools.

Especially #2, it depends on their business models. Those models dictate their prices, practices, etc.

Personally I’d never recommend Network Solutions for the small business owner, although I can understand corporations go to them for support reliability.

I want to set up my own website but do not know which is the best place to buy a domain name or a website address.
Sure i tried Godaddy.com but its damn expensive to get even the basic stuff.

Could you pls tellme which could be a cheaper option tu buy from and also, what better is it to buy from a known brand like Godaddy.com rather than buying from anyone else who gives a cheaper price? (considering both give same time limit for registration)

I want to get my own domain name (specifically http://strawberry -dreams.org), but then when I host other sites I want it to be:

http:// surrender.strawberry -dreams.org
NOT
http:// strawberry -dreams.org/surrender

Is this available anywhere (with any .org registration), or do I have to register through someone specific? I want something relatively cheap, and I am located in Australia.
