I see there are bulk prices as godaddy, but still even then they’re like seven or eight bucks apeice; is there a cheaper way to get like fifty or so domain names? thanks

If you are a reseller you can get them at very low prices. It also depends on the volume of domain names you get. The more you get the cheaper the price.
The main domain registrars are Opensrs, Enom, Nominet etc.
